Clinical Rotations

Prior to completing the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program, students will complete clinical hours to gain hands-on experience and prepare for a career. As a student, you have the option to complete your hours in professional athletics, Division I and Division II intercollegiate athletics, high school athletics, hospitals, and physical therapy clinics.

“UE has a good Athletic Training program that helps you prepare to be an athletic trainer when you graduate. They provide different clinic rotations so that you can learn from different sports. The immersive clinic was the best experience I've ever had. I was able to work with the University of Florida Women's Basketball team that prepared me to have confidence to be an athletic trainer with UE Men's Basketball now. I am glad that I choose UE.”

UE also has partnerships with other universities and organizations that allow students to experience a real-world work setting, apply their education, and seek potential employment opportunities. Classes can be completed online during rotations, so students are not geographically limited in selecting a clinical site. Clinical rotations are currently available with the following:

  • Austin Peay State University
  • Kentucky Wesleyan College
